Only 2 days and 14 pages of writing standing between me and summer break! I'm looking forward to actually being able to blog, paint, play and write as much as I want again. In the meantime, here's what's happening in the garden...
I am a teacher and graduate student in Literacy Studies. I live in a small New England coastal town with a dog, a cat, my husband, the Pirate King(PK for short)and our baby boy. We grow gardens, paint, play crazy violin music and kayak as often as possible.
n. a merging of action and experience in which time seems to stand still and experience takes on a rich texture; utter absorption and energized focus on the creative process
About This Blog
This online exploration is a record of my quest to approach life more mindfully, and to pay close attention to my own artistic impulses-as well as the creative energies of those around me. PK and I are driven by a desire to build the world around us into something full of lightness and beauty, and to learn to exist more in the now than in the might-have-been. This blog charts our navigation of those sometimes murky waters.

So very lovely.
I was going to write "Lovely, lovely, lovely." But Brigindo already said that, so I'll say.....tender and beautiful. :)
You've posted some beautiful pictures on this blog. Your appreciation of nature really speaks to me.
